Hi. Just to share my timeline from PPR to COPR. I submitted my passport at vfs on 29th Jan and yesterday on 12th Feb I received my envelope with a letter of COPR and passport stamped. I would suggest wait for 15-20 days at max as I have waited for 157 days from AOR to PPR so 15days seems quite negligible. Good luck to all waiting for COPR.

Hello,
Pls what is the passport photograph size in the PPR mail. Waiting for the mail but want to get my passport photograph ready.

50 mm x 70 mm (2 inches wide x 2 3/4 inches long) and sized so the height of the face measures between 31 mm and 36 mm (1 1/4 inches and 1 7/16 inches) from chin to crown of head (natural top of head)

The back of one (1) photograph must:
- bear the name and date of birth of the subject, as well as the name and complete address of the photography studio
- bear the date the photograph was taken
- the photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable

Any updates from CEC Inland guys? For me it's been a week since I sent the passports to Ottawa but no updates yet.

I have been tracking the second envelope. Nothing has come up yet. It's been a week now. But my profile got updated to complete yesterday. Maybe they will send the passport today .

I sent mine on the 5th and they received it today. Still no updates on my profile yet, so I'm guessing passports haven't been printed/stamped yet
My passports were received on the 4th of feb and I got my passports delivered to vfs office yesterday . But my visa issue date on the COPR and passports is 5-02-2019 . That means they have issued visa the very next day they received my passports but took time to send them
Through ( May be they send them out in lots )

Guys I have a doubt , my landing province says ON(Ontario ) Ottawa on my COPR . But now I want to do my landing in Vancouver will there be any issue regarding this ?

Hey, how is Vancouver in general. Is it really expensive as people claim it to be? Can a new immigrant with no job survive there for atleast a month or 2 till he finds a survival job?
It depends . The Metro Vancouver area is pretty big (not as big as the GTA) and there are lots of cities within that. When people think of Vancouver , they probably only talk about downtown and that's expensive just like in any city across the world. I bedroom rents are anywhere between 1000-1700 $. Public transit is really good so most new immigrants prefer that over a car.
If you like spending money, you will do that in any city haha.

Please be aware that it rains a lot here . Starts in October and goes on until at least March. All day every day. You have to be okay with that .

Shop at Wal-Mart and you'll save $$$. Stay away from save-on, Safeway. Will post whatever else pops into my head.

Jobs are not easy and making friends is HARD. Vancouver is known to be a cold city for its lack of friendship. People are very helpful though. Very!

Learn to say sorry and thank you and learn to others saying that as well. It's a way of being
