Hi all, any idea when CEC outland applicants typically get their Biometrics Instruction Letter?

CEC Outland - applying from UK
AOR - 19th December
MEP - 31st January
Ghost update - 1st Feb (assuming this is 'real' IP2 as I had the IP2 status prior to MEP)

But still no Biometrics request... I paid all fees in advance when I submitted my application.

The general rule is that people with no travel history tend to get PPR faster

I disagree... Been to 4 countries and I submitted PCC for two countries...

Just login and here is all the details.
AOR Dec 5 2018
MEP passed jan 14 2019
RPRF requested on 27jan paid fee on 29jan
After that nothing has changed and I’m on IP1 because there is..
we let you know when we start ur background check.....
no mail for finger print or anything else.
Updates don’t happen that fast except for a very small number of people.

I’m unable to understand why you’re expecting instructions for fingerprints when you clearly don’t require and this has been repeatedly clarified to you in this very thread.

Hi guys,just received golden mail
Dear xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: bucstimmigration@international.gc.ca with details concerning your situation.
STEP 1: Change in Circumstances:

Should any of the following circumstances apply to you or any accompanying family member, you must inform this office immediately:

· Change in marital status, for example due to marriage, divorce, legal separation, annulment or death of spouse;

· Change in family composition, for example due to adoption or birth of a child, including a child born to an accompanying dependent child,

· Death of principal applicant, spouse, accompanying children, or death of sponsoring relative;

· Change in health;

· You or any of your accompanying family members being charged or convicted of a criminal offence;

· Change in contact information: mailing address, e-mail address, or telephone number.

Your failure to inform CIC of any of these changes may result in the cancellation of your permanent resident visa and may render you and your accompanying family members inadmissible to Canada.

Your failure to declare all of your family members, accompanying or not, will permanently exclude them from sponsorship under the Family Class regulations.

and so on

The update the day of or the day after MEP is IP1. CEC starts in Faux-IP2. Expect a ghost update for Real IP2 around Feb 25 signifying eligibility is met (probably).

Ahh ok. I thought it was CEC-Inland only that starts in IP2?

Does the biometrics letter typically follow real IP2 or is there no set timeline? Not sure where I made the assumption from but I thought it usually came with MEP.

You don’t have a signature so I have no clue where you are from (citizenship). You probably don’t require biometrics.
