Ishq74 I tried emailing head office and they have given me the factual information like my position, employment period and tax details.
You must have the following information in your letter which also must be on a company letterhead-

Job Title: Shift Manager
Duration:
Type of employment: Part time 20 hours per week during study term time; Full time during vacations.
Report to: Business manager of the branch.
Salary: GBP £00.00 per hour (Paid every two weeks by BACS).
Benefits: Staff meals, Staff uniform, Contributory pension scheme, Comprehensive training in every role.
Holidays: 4 weeks paid holiday per annum.

His main roles and responsibilities were:

--
--
--

Yours sincerely

HR Manager

Note: If you cannot get this letter from your Company HR then alternatively you can prepare this letter on a plain paper and get it signed by your store/assistant/shift manager who has worked with you. Request him/her to go to any Notary lawyer in UK and sign the letter before the Notary lawyer. Submit this notarized letter along with the company reference letter, payslips, p60s, p45.

I am suggesting you this because if you do not mention job duties in your official letter then your application could face rejection! This notarize letter which will have all necessary information will definitely save your application.

Good Luck!

Were you an international student? if yes then you should not show more than 20 hours as this will raise questions. In my reference letter I just had "20 hours per week" and the duration. It was 43 months 20 hours per week and IRCC converted it equivalent to 27 months full time. If you have any period of full time work which was legally done then you need to mention that period separately in your profile and in the reference letter too and upload the same letter every time. for example-

Duration: Jan 2010 - Dec 2010
Hours: 20 hours per week
Position: Shift Manager

Duration: Jan 2011 - Apr 2011
Hours: 30 hours per week
Position: Shift Manager

Duration: May 2011 - Dec 2011
Hours: 20 hours per week
Position: Shift Manager
Thank you for clarifying this. I was international during that period. I will edit it to 20 hours. I believe we could work more than 20 hours per week in the summer so I will break it down as you've instructed.

I would break it up by semesters. Spring and Fall would be 20 hours and Summer 30 hours.

Did you have to upload your pay-slips ? The accounting department doesn't want to print copies of my pay stubs as "it's too much work and too long ago"

In my franchisee we had "ePayslip" which is still available online. I submitted all of them along with my P60 and P45. GCMS notes showed IRCC officer mentioned those paysilps which I believe strengthened my case. But these are not mandatory. I suggest you to get at least P60 (Yearly Tax Calculation).

No you don't need to mention all the positions. But make sure you mention only period you were shift manager in your work history and upload this letter, rest should go to personal history (i.e crew member, trainer).

You don't have to prove the authenticity of your work, its IRCC's job to verify background. Don't upload BRP, Just write couple of lines in a Letter of Explanation (LoE).

Shift Manager in food service is NOC 6311-Food Service Supervisors (Type B) which is accepted in Express Entry. And your minimum wage should be according the country where you are/were employed not as per Canadian minimum wage.

edit: I have shown 3.4 years part time (20 hours/week) work experience as Shift manager at McDonald's in London, UK. I got 2.3 years equivalency calculated by Case Analyst and he has put my eligibility as recommended pass. I used to get GBP 7.50 per hour that time which is mentioned in my experience letter.
Heyi Ishq74 even I’m in UK as an international student now. So if I work in any restaurant like subway, kfc, mcd, dominos as a shift manager or shift leader can I apply for Express entry, PNP programs? Also working hours while studying also count as an experience? And how many years of work experience needed to apply to canada? Is it easy to get theses jobs shift manager or shift leader directly with no experience? Thank you.

1. If you worked as shift manager, you can use that to apply for express entry.
2. You can use work experience whilst studying to apply (I did and many others did this as well) - you can do this as long as it is not an experience in canada
3. You get maximum points for 3 years work experience
4. I dont understand the last question.

You might also benefit from doing more research on express entry in general. Good luck!

Thank you for replying
I’m only allowed to work for 20 hours during semester and 40hrs during holidays can you tell me how will they calculate it? How many years of work experience is good to apply for? should I work in the same branch with same designation without accepting any promotions? Also what if I took a long holiday like for a month will there be any problem in my profile while applying because its a hourly based salary so if I don’t work they won’t pay me I think how to show that? What all documents are required to apply for EXPRESSING ENTRY or PNP PROGRAMS? Is CLB 7 a good score for PNP? Easiest PNP to apply with the NOC CODE (SHIFT MANAGER /LEADER). How much time rougly will it take to complete the whole process. Thank you :)
