Hi guys,

I need some clarification.
I submitted my file on April 3, 2018. NDVO interview was conducted on Feb 6, 2019 and I got Pre-arrival email on Feb 7 and status changed to Decision Made in Ecas on Feb 7. No PPR yet.

Does it mean my BG is in process or completed. When can i expect PPR .

Your response is highly appreciated.

Thank you again.
You will get it on Monday. All decision made’s during the week get ppr email following Monday. So enjoy your weekend and wait for Monday for a golden email. Good luck

You are lucky I got my interview 0n November 28 and pre arrival on nov 30. No update after that.

Hey, keep your hopes up. Hopefully soon, good news will break out for you! Even though NDVO has been on the slower side, but I believe they have been working working hard and all of us get good news soon.

How do you check processing time for each vo and diff visa categories ? Is there a seperate processing timeline for ndvo?

Hi all
I was thinking if sending an email to ndvo explaining that sponsor wants to visit India by april possibly and come back with spouse will help fast track anything?? Or atkeast prompt them to start bgc ?

Hi,
I have the most basic question. The outland spousal sponsorship was received by CIC on February 8, 2019. My spouse is presently in India. How much time approximately it will take for the application to process although the average processing time is 1 year.

Some people tell me 4 months and some 8 months. I was reading some threads and they say file is processed faster if it is transferred to Mississauga then Delhi. What does that mean

Sometimes if the backlog is too much at your Principal Applicant’s local visa office, and also if yours is a very straightfoward case and application, your file will be transferred to the Missisauga office in Canada itself instead of going to the local office. And Missisauga is known to process applications faster. Processing time is 1 year but again depending on the strength of your application it can take as little as 3-4 months if everything checks or in rare cases more than a year too.

Congratulations.. the information/documents that are required would be mentioned in the PPR email that you receive. if it is not mentioned in the email, you dont need to submit biometrics. For my wife, she was not requested for biometrics hence we did not submit it.

Thank you . PPR email doesn't say anything about Biometrics.

On VFS consent for I have 2 options

Option 1: Applicant wishing to provide Biometrics
Option 2: Applicants not wishing to provide Biometrics

Do you recall which option you chose when you filled VFS consent form ?
Thanks for your response.
