Hi,

I have the most basic question. The outland spousal sponsorship was received by CIC on February 8, 2019. My spouse is presently in India. How much time approximately it will take for the application to process although the average processing time is 1 year.

Some people tell me 4 months and some 8 months. I was reading some threads and they say file is processed faster if it is transferred to Mississauga then Delhi. What does that mean

There's no real consistency, it is entirely dependent on the visa office, the officer, your application. Expect 12 months and be pleasantly surprised for anything faster than that.
