They should take about 2-3 weeks. However, the final COPR letter/mail should hopefully have the latest passport number. For update, CIC generally sends you the update mail regarding the document received and updation.18 oct aor here.
I have got a new passport after renewal so
I initiated a cic request and sent a photo of my new passport.
How long does it take them to update? Do they confirm over email that they have changed my passport number?
