Hi, I am an immigrant from India. I am currently in the process of sponsoring my wife. One of the documents required is a Police clearance certificate. When my wife approached the passport office she was told that in order to get the police clearance she needs to give them a sponsorship letter sent by me. I am currently living in Toronto but my wife is in India. Please advise if this sounds right and if so please help me with a sample sponsorship letter. Thanks.

Hi Azhar - Which city in India is she applying for the PCC. My spouse did the same in Mumbai and she was only asked the reason for PCC to which she mentioned it is for Canada Immigration. No Letter was requested from her.

Hello Azhar - My wife is trying to get a PCC from Visakhapatnam PSK, they were asking the same sponsorship invitation letter given by me to her and told her to reschedule the appointment. Could you please let me know what you ended up doing regarding the invitation letter? Thanks!!

Hi I am in the same boat. Applying pcc from Visakhapatnam they are asking sports declaration. Could you please share format if do you have . Thanks
