I was sponsoring my father from the philippines in a family reunification program. We have been approv for sponsoring him. I just receieved an email that my fathers application is in ottawa for verification. Just happened that my father had a sudden death 2 weeks ago...what should i do ti inform the immigration about my fathers sudden death.?? And what will be happend next?
Please anybody can give me advice what to do next?

Was your mother included as a dependent in the app? If so, when you update IRCC, you can have her changed to the Principal Applicant and the app will continue to be processed.

Hello.. i was trying to open the link you gave me and following the instructions from the website once i complete filling up eveything it says cannot process my request..

I just sent an application for my dad but he put my mom as one of his dependent. Basically on the application its just my dad. Is it still possible to make or submit application for my mom??

Sorry for your loss. You can try emailing the Manila Visa Office directly at MANILIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca with due documents attached.

As canuck in uk said, you should inform Manila Visa Office about your father's death and request that your mother be the principal applicant in the application instead.

If your mother doesn't want to immigrate to Canada, then you can cancel the app. If she does want to immigrate, then request that she be changed to the PA.

Hello.. i did the web form and the CIC response today says im not authorize to make any changes on my fathers app. My father has to fillup a represntatve form and giving me authorization. What should i do my father passed away already. ??

You need to send a CSE and attach a death certificate once available, If you no longer need to sponsor you don't need to submit your application or you can withdraw it if already being processed.

As said above, you need to show proof that he has died.

CSE = Webform.

You should have already said that. What did you put in the first Webform? You should have explained that your father has passed away, attached the proof and requested that your mother be made PA.

Hi Cannuck!
My mom had been granted as a PA. And she has been requested for the medical exam and she did 2 weeks ago. They said in the letter in the bottom part (“A refund of any fees to which you are entitled will be initiated when this sponsorship application is processed”... ) in this part am i getting a refund for my fathers application? Confusing for me..
