Submitted updated bank statements today so hopefully next step is PPR.
Yeah it's true...unbelievable I don't know why they don't provide actual time line with reason of delaying the process. Too lazy officer are sitting over there. Don't worry we will get prr soon..I finally find someone that's one the same boat! My aor july 25 and eligibility still under review. Security and criminality not started yet.
No wonder why people want to work for the government because they don't have to actually work.
Sometimes I feel like it is unfair for people who worked so hard to get their PRs, but all we got is endless pospone.
What has been escalated?Hey @tobs,
I have contacted local MP regarding my EE application, initially we got response from IRCC to wait for 15days to see any progress - no progress.
Upon follow up mail from our MP, informed that my case has been escalated to CPC in Edmonton. Would this be any helpful ?(just from your past forum experiences)
FYI - My file is in Edmonton
I did. Took total 7 months. I sent more documents to support my application.Hello,
I have a review required on my application for employment (almost all of my employment has RR, even when the documents have everything. I don't understand that). However, I am reading that it has taken months (in some cases, as much as 18 months ) for the people who have Review Required on their application.
Are you aware of people who had RR on their employment and got PPR in a decent time frame. Thanks for reading and your for your replies!
Proactively or upon request? How long between submitting those and movement on your application?I did. Took total 7 months. I sent more documents to support my application.
Proactively. Submitted documents on Dec 26th, received ppr email on Feb 4thProactively or upon request? How long between submitting those and movement on your application?
Thanks
Thanks for info TanuP and congrats on your PPR.Proactively. Submitted documents on Dec 26th, received ppr email on Feb 4th
I saw a ghost update on the profile, I think it was on Thu/Fri the week before Feb 4th. I called them up and they said my eligibility changed from RR to passed and hence the update. Next stage: ppr emailThanks for info TanuP and congrats on your PPR.
You're doing better than me. Submitted proactively on December 10th and no movement since. Same visa office, Ottawa. My issue was POF funds though and not employment letters.
Did you have any activity/indicators between 26th December and 4th February such as the so called IP2 or did you switch straight from IP1 to PPR?
Did they email you saying your documents have been forwarded to the case officer? Thanks for info TanuP and congrats on your PPR.

I got the below generic response a day after submitting my docs via CSE on December 10th. I was later told by phone that my documents were received on January 8 (almost a month later) but have not been reviewed yet. That was January 29th, so 11 or 12 days ago. Tomorrow will be two months since I submitted them/Did they email you saying your documents have been forwarded to the case officer?
This is what i'd received as well. However, i ordered my 2nd gcms notes a week or so after and when I received them (23rd Jan) i saw they'd included my new paperwork but my status was still RR and hadn't changed since Oct (initial RR date). They are slowwwww!Good to know. Thanks.

Oh, one more thing. My job contract was extended so I sent the new offer letter (It's not a valid offer letter and I'm not claiming points for it). This was around 25th of Jan. I wrote a letter saying I've moved up in the NOC food chain (B to A) and that my new job uses the same skills as my primary noc, I now have a senior position, and have added responsibilities (I actually described them and showed how they relate to my primary noc and my Canadian education).
Thanks ! To you too! Keep us postedOk not really applicable in my case but appreciate you sharing your timeline nonetheless. Hope you get off to a great start in Canada after the long wait
They did not requested for any additional documents. I have attached my fixed deposits but they have not noticed it. I hope it will be noticed when some smart officers review it.Hi,
