I was born in the USA to a Canadian mother born in Montreal, who later became a US citizen and is now deceased.

I live in the USA. Can I get Canadian citizenship and passport while keeping my US citizenship, passport and residency?

If so, how would I do this?

Thanks.

As long as your mother had not formally renounced her Canadian citizenship to the Canadian government before your birth, you are eligible for Canadian citizenship by descent. Both the US and Canada allow its citizens to hold multiple citizenships. You need to apply for proof of citizenship to formalize your status and to get a Canadian passport.
