How long it takes after eligibility is met? in case of Fsw-O-India Single

I am still in IP1 too. Oct 10th AOR. No ghost update..nothing.
Citizen and resident of India. With some travel history and PCCs from India and UK. I don't know whether travel history is the reason for delay or all applicants from India are also waiting - not sure.
I ordered GCMS notes last week. Let's see

I actually thought single applicants processing will be faster compared to couples/families But seems to be other way around lol

Hello,

My AOR is October 06th. I raised a web form query regarding the visa office and current status and here is the response I received:

• Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario,
  • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
• The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
  • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.

Any idea which stage this means? Account online shows background check has not started.

I have not got any response from IRCC after sending email 2 times and Web Query once. It seems I will never get any information about my Visa Office or application status. This is really frustrating as my BC Status from Day 1 is "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." and it has been 108 Days since I applied. It seems IRCC is hell-bent on keeping the applicants in dark.

Did you call cic agents sometime to know if your eligibility, criminality or background check is done?

I did and the super kind agent said my application is under verification to check whether I meet eligibility requirements

Background checks not initiated.

She also said initial assessment(R10) was completed on December 17th and file was transferred to CPC-Ottawa.

i called on 29th Jan and she said eligibility is pass but they haven't begun criminality or background check. my Aor is 24th Oct.

If eligibility is met then you are 90% through. If you have a long travel history then background check might take a bit long otherwise you should probably get the golden mail this month!!

So you met eligibility in 3 months? I am Nov 2 AOR so I am hoping to receive some update next week!!!

no i don't have travel history, but none of Oct AORs are receiving PPRs as yet. barely US Residents and PNP and CEC candidates have got the golden mail that's it. I think only 2-3 candidates from immi tracker show PPRs to FSW-O India for Oct AORs. I think it might get pushed to March for Oct Aor. Not sure though.

It really needs to speed up.

I am not sure how they are going to deal with it this year, when they are going to be flooded with more applications.
