FBI history summary check

Hello guys,
I'm a little confused with the eDO thing. If I submitt my request electronically does it mean that I don't need to mail the fingerprints ? I can just scan them or email them ? Or I still need to send them by mail.

Thank you for your answer! May I ask if I can mail them even I don't live in the USA. I read somewhere that the FBI won't mail my personal record outside of the US.

Thank you! Just to sum up what I need to do is :
1. Submitt my eDO request
2. Mail the fingerprints
3. Send an email to the FBI with my tracking details.
4. Wait for the answer.
Is that right or am I missing something ?

thats exactly wht u need to ... just 1 tip.. ask for email copy while filing online form...

Does asking for the email version mean that it's all i will get? Or I will also get the original by mail ?

Is all hard copy of FBI summary checks black and white?

I'm asking this question cause one of my friend sent her original FBI summary check with her paper PR application and CIC officer called her asking why she sent copy of it. She basically sent the original one but all of summary checks looks like white and black.
