Typically, you get a biometrics instruction letter if you have to do biometrics. Then eligibility, criminality and security checks are performed. After these checks are done, you get a ppr.
Unfortunately, there are cases (including mine) in which after 2 months since the date of MEP, nothing is done on file. Today I saw a case that hasn't been touched since the beginning of October, meaning no checks have been performed except for medicals.
