I linked my application to cic account today. It says submitted but when I open it , it says decision has been made and application was approved. Does approved usually means card is dispatched?

Don’t worry about it. Each PR card application is processing independently so there can be difference on their processing time.

I did not get any email regarding photo request. So what to expect is the application approved or still chances r there for photo request?

Mostly ghost update itself means the card went into production and be ready to be dispatched. So, soon to be approved.

If you want to know the detail of your son’s card, you may call to CIC agent if there is any photo request or something. Because some applicants do not receive any email notification for the photo request and I was the one in such that case.

same happened to me, give it a day or 2 and it will get updated
