Hi admin, I just want to revise/update that my city is actually Surrey, not Vancouver, if you could update, thanks. I realized now that I saw my test is in Surrey, BC, and many people like to check by city

This week marks 12 weeks (or 3 months) since my husband wrote the test. All 3 of our colleagues who wrote the test in December (one sent their application in late June) now have their oaths set. Never imagined it would take 3 months+ for just prohibition? Everything else is cleared. We've settled on the idea his oath will probably happen in May.

ppl in this tread said oath is based on your original country, for the so-called diversity. So applicants from India, China, iran will need to be a bit patient

I guess I should have mentioned the case is still "in process". Still no decision yet. Can't have an oath without a decision made haha.

Also all three of those co-workers I mentioned who wrote the test in December with a oath scheduled in March, are from India.

According to the ATIP, the file hasn't even be opened since November 13. Prohibition was the only thing not started since January 8. Everything else said "Passed".

May 25, 2018. Application received by CIC

July 19, 2018 correspondence of receipt

August 16, 2018 processed

November 19, 2018. Finger print correspondence

November 28, 2018 -Saw the email.. went and got it done and sent mailed it.

December 11,2018 - I called CIC, agent confirm it was received and that "everything looked good"

January 30, 2019 -called agent confirmed "everything looks great, just waiting on test centre for a test date."

I just received the email for the Oath Ceremony now. The date of the ceremony is March 7, 2019.
