Parents Supervisa

Hi all,

I am currently completing a supervisa application for my parents. I'm just doubtful that the basis of our family income that we will be presenting is my husband's current salary for 2019. We will be providing his COE and payslips for this year as he got a salary increase, and our last year's income is not sufficient. Will this be okay?
Also, I've indicated that the reason for visit is for them to meet and spend time with my son since I've given birth last year and I've seen in some forums that its not advisable. Although, they have a property back home. May I ask for your opinion or advice if I need to delete that?

You will be submitting NOA. Doesn't sound like you meet the current income requirement.

You have to proof 2018 income meeting the LICO, therefore, I think u should wait till next year.

NOA or T4 is also fine I guess to prove the income, right? asking cuz I have submitted a paper return and dont expect an NOA very soon.

I have another query regarding super visa, what do you enter/add in terms of the document support for purpose of travel?
1. a return ticket doesnt seem like a viable option since the initial entry under super visa is expected for a
last a longer duration (~ 2 years)
2. people say adding an itinerary of the trip is an option - I can add some random<real> tourist locations as pointers of the places that we would be visiting but we all know Super visa is meant for staying with parents for a longer duration rather than just doing touristy things*. What have people in the past added here ., just need some examples? I dont know if buying/showing hotel reservations etc would even be useful here. Need suggestions.
3. Is it okay to say they will be planning to stay for a longer period? ~ 2 years? in the invitation letter or the purpose of visit?

I still went ahead with the supervisa application and had it approved in 1 month.

Return trip ticket and itinerary are not needed. I just attached a letter saying that they will only be visiting and spending time with us for a year.

Do you mind posting your timeline here? If you could share whether your parents have TRV refused before? and or what docs u submitted for yourself n your parents. Thank you! I have applied for SV for my granny via delhi VFS on March 7th.

Yes no need for last year tax return if you have letter of employment this year.
I did the samething.

Make it simple.
Letter invitation. Don't understand why is recomended here not to invite your parents to meet your newborn or at any age. That was my reason twice.and parents got a supervisa second time, because first time there was no supervisa implemented yet.
Current employment letter.
Canadian passports photocopy.
Marriage certificate.

Parents, property, employment letter, bank certificate, signed forms, 2 pictures, passport.

That's it.
Why is it so difficult to interpret ?
Don't stress your self people.

Try it again few months after and fix what was the concern from the officer.
