Hi!

I'm 17 years old (becoming 18 on the 23th of August) and from the Netherlands. Next winter I'm planning to follow a ski instructor course in Canada (from half November) and give lessons from the start of December (I already have a job offer). As far as I could find on the website of the governement I can only start applying when I'm 18. Is this true or are there any other options I could try? Because last year they did run out of IEC visas for the Netherlands around the end of May.

I really hope someone can help me, because this really is a big dream of mine! Thanks a lot!!

1. No, you can't apply until you are 18.
2. If you don't get an invitation, your prospective employer would have to obtain an LMIA after you turn 18 if you wish to work.
