Greetings all
I have issued a PCC from UAE and they spelled one letter from my first name wrong, they replaced an "e" with an "i", is that an issue?, please let me know should I explain it in my LOE?.

I cant do that, the name is like that on their system with a typo, and they wont change it, I have tried

If that's case better explain throughly in ur LOE ! Get it sorted before hand

Best is to fix it if not then provide a detailed loe showing that you tried and provide a proof for that

Thanks @Wolverine17 i have reached them and they will rectify it, but they might not be able to change the passport no., they wrote down a passport number that I cancelled (hasnt expired yet but prematurely cancelled), is that an issue i can upload the old passport bio page

Alright I had a passport, that expires in September 2019 and this passport was used to issue my work visa in 2015 so its on the system. In Jan 2019 I cancelled this passport due to change of residency address ( in egypt if you change your residing address permanently you have to reflect it in the passport) so the passport was replace with one that expires in 2026. Now the PCC will have the information of my old passport as this is the passport used to issue the work visa and the new passport hasnt yet been used by the authorities and wont be used until i renew my work visa in March 2019.
I have both passports the old and the new both have my same name and same information just a different home country address
