Hi need some help can someone in Senior help me my question is how long Mexico VO talk to issue letter to submit pass port we already sent the police certificate and FBI certificate my husband medical will expire next month I went to my Mp office but there not much the can do all I have been told that it's in process.

Most straight forward Outland Spousal Sponsorship follow these process steps (the order of the steps may vary)

1. Application received at IRCC
   
2. IRCC start processing application
3. Receive Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR 1)
4. Link Application to Online Account
5. Sponsor Approval and File transfer to VO
6. VO starts processing PR application (AOR 2)
7. Receive Request for Medical Exam
8. Medical Exam @ IRCC Panel Physician Clinic
9. Medical Exam Result
10. Passport Request (PPR)
11. Pick-up Permanent Residency Visa (PUM)

Spousal sponsorship process completion time varies depending on the visa office and on a case basis.......will advice you assume process from AOR to completion takes 12 months to help reduce the waiting stress.......relax.....its a wait game

No one can say. Mexico is very slow. I suggest ordering your notes to see for yourself where you are in the process. Like pp said 12 months more or less is what you can expect. Ours took 12 months 5 days through mexico

Since July 2018 it was sent to Mexico? Where does your husband reside?

My application was received February 2 and then sent to Mexico May 18 received AOR2 October 30. Nothing since then!!! Anybody think my husband will be here for Christmas?? Probably not.

We ended up having to redo medicals after we got approved; and it took a month after the medicals to have the passport request.

No way to tell how long however if u didnt get approved yet.
Then another 3 weeks apprx to get passport back

Well, just got to know that my file was trasferred to Mexico VO on November 8th... I guess I will wait more than I thought to get my PPR :/

I got pre arrival on January 16......then almost 2 weeks later sent email to ask about status and they said we were in queue for interview. Very confused. Ouryear was February 2 and we have heard nothing since so don’t know why we’d get pre arrival then get told we need interview. Don’t know what’s going on. Just waiting. Ordered notes....they will come next month. Hopefully they will be helpful.

Yes we are over 12 months now as of February 2. My Husband is from Dominican Republic

I’m just so confused on the whole process. We got pre arrival and now they say we are in queue for interview......now we are over the year. How much longer????
