study in canada with 10th pass wife

Hello Sir/Ma'a,

I am bachelor degree holder in engineering and I would like to furthur study in canada, but i married and my wife is 10th pass education, So its hard to crack IELTS for her. so my question is, any possibility that I'm study masters in canada along with my wife?

Hi Mehul,
Your desire to study in Canada has nothing to do with your wife's educational background or credentials.
If you apply to a University or College in Canada, your wife does NOT need to clear IELTS.
You can clear IELTS and apply to educational institutions yourself. If accepted, you can apply for a Study Permit.
Once in Canada and provided she meets the criteria, you could sponsor your wife to join you on a Open Work Permit as a spouse.

If you wife needs to work she may struggle to get employment. In order to qualify to become a citizen in Canada she will also have to pass on English language test.

Yes, to get a spouse visa of Canada, there should be not much gap in academic studies of the main applicant so if your wife is not educated but you are graduate already then you can apply as a main candidate and your wife can accompany you as a spouse.
