I applied for trv visa. Myself, hubby and mum. My husband is the primary applicant. We uploaded all relevant documents including vast travel history, properties documents, work etc. We started in the application that our purpose of visit was for tourism and stated in the letter of explanation that I am pregnant and would be giving birth while there. Hubby period of visit was two weeks , my self and mum is three months. I also started that mum would be helping me after the delivery. I already have two kids who aren't travelling with us. Our visa was refused on the grounds of purpose of visit and personal and financial asset. We submitted hubby account statement with balance of seven thousand Euro. We want to reapply, please what other documents can we include. What do they mean by purpose of visit. We also want to add more funds to the account. Hope this won't look suspicious. My husband is expecting some money for some jobs he did and that will greatly increase the bank statement.

A delivery and care for your new baby could be over a million dollars. Unfortunately with 7 Euros one person wouldn't have been approved for a visa. Birth tourism happens but the Canadian government tries to prevent it as much as possible. Not sure why you thought you would get approved. No point reapplying.

Well I have the price quotes for the delivery from some Canadian hospitals and it's no where near what you stated.. I applied because I know people who applied for same purpose and their visa granted.

A normal vaginal deliver would be under 10000 and under. C-section $15-20000. Your baby ends up in the NICU could be up to $20000 a day. A couple from Australia are paying weekly for the rest of their lives to repay the 1 million dollar unplanned delivery in Canada. Your friends who applied did not mention they were pregnant and planned to stay for delivery. They likely try to hide their pregnancy while travelling or used previous visa.

Have you actually seen the visa applications of these people or are you relying on anecdotes?

Here is the IRCC manual on this topic:

This is probably why you were all refused:
1. Entire family applying together = No family ties to return home to. Not sure how old your other two children are + in whose care you are leaving them.

2. Your husband is the primary applicant, but his financial support does not cover the costs of pre/post natal care + childbirth + your stay + airfare for all applicants

3. You and your mom intend to stay for at least 3 months = No ties/no strong reasons to return to your home country

4. In the event of complications during your pregnancy, childbirth or the newborn, you and your mother will most likely overstay even the three months' stated visit.

5. A high-risk pregnancy or complications could result in you putting excessive demand on Canada's healthcare services,

6. It is obvious you want your baby to have a Canadian passport (easy route to get the passport instead of the several years that it takes other applicants to get Canadian citizenship)

All these points collectively indicate that you/your family do not meet the requirements for temporary resident visas

Just to add that even if a visa were approved there would be no guarantee at the border of getting approval for a 3 month stay and in fact could just be granted a couple of weeks especially with only 7k euros for 3 people to pay for food and accomodation let alone delivery costs pre and post delivery.

Assume the OP knows that having a baby in Canada gives the rest of the family no advantage at all to move to Canada, not at least anyway until the child is 18 plus.

To add to the above the OP would find it almost impossible to obtain travel insurance to cover any unexpected complications that the OP themselves might encounter both with travel and let alone the delivery costs as indicated above .

Now it is on record that purpose of visit includes a delivery chances of approval seem remote but who knows although for sure should not try to hide the fact as that could result in a long ban from the country for misrepresentation.
