NOC Code verification : Senior fund accountant

Did u get any certificate or pursuing CPA etc?
Do you think my duties suit NOC 1111? Thanks a lot for your time
• Examine and analyze the accounting and financial records (i.e. journal and ledger entries, bank statements, and other accounting and tax related information) of assigned mutual funds to ensure financial recording accuracy and compliance with accounting principles of the funds
• Ensure all required data for producing the net asset value are available and quality ensured (corporate action, pricing) and calculate the net asset value for funds.
• Examine and reconcile daily transactions of assigned mutual funds, analyze daily cash flow activities, reconcile assets and cash balances, maintain an accurate balanced cash account.
• Perform additional audit checks to support the calculation of net asset values; analyze the increase or decrease of the net asset value of a fund. the net asset value and compliance with established procedures.
• Coordinate with fund auditors for interim and year-end audits, prepare required audit-related reports, schedules and financial statements
• Prepare and analyze the calculation of year-end distributions of income, capital gains, related tax issues and provide advice to internal staffs or clients.
• Liaise with clients and internal staffs to resolve all issues concerning cash discrepancies, questionable transactions and trade transactions in a timely manner.
Hi, your duties seems to be more inline with Noc 1111. Again it's your call and make a good decision. I worried a lot about my noc code and made a good decision of choosing Noc 1111 and it was fine apart from that I have done a Masters and specialized in finance and accounting.
In case of a Fund accounting profile ,Will it matter if a person is a senior Manager and if we choose NOC code 1111 . Does it make any difference?
There is no minimum qualification such as CPA or CA but probably you should have a Master's degree and being fund accountant Noc code 1111 should be the apt one
I do have a Masters Degree , but WES did not evaluate it. So I ended up having a Bachelors degree.
The Work Ex in my EE profile I mentioned is only 3 years and that too in 1 company but in a senior role , i wish to only show this experience as i am not the primary applicant in my case . I think if the Degree is not an issue then I would go with NOC 1111 rather than 1311 as the roles mentioned in 1111 are closely related to what I do.
