EE CEC work experience

Hi guys,

I have two Canada jobs during past one year, A job is from 01/29/2018 to 10/19/2018 and B job is from 10/29/2018 to now. Both jobs are in category A (NOC code).

Here's the questions -
I created my profile on 01/29/2019 and got ITA on 01/30/2019. Should I accept it?

For CEC, you dont need 1 year of continuous experience. As long as you have a combined work experience of 52 weeks in the past 3 years, you should be good.

Thank you for your answer. However, my question was can I accept the ITA if I have 10 days gap between two jobs?

Not really, I only have 51.5 weeks of experience.

Then better reject this ITA. What is your CRS? If it is above than 440, you will most likely get in the next draw and you would have completed your 52 weeks then too.

My recommendation is that you should have at least 1 to 2 weeks experience more than standard 52 Weeks. Supposed that you dont take any day off off or vacation off. Good luck

I'm also claiming foreign work experience with different NOC (skilled type 0)

As I primary NOC I selected NOC 1123 (My current job in canada, most recent)

Is this ok? Do NOC codes have to match? How do you decide which is your primary NOC?

No the codes do not have to match. The primary NOC code matters more for FSW applicants - because they are required to have at least one continuous year of employment in their primary NOC code. (CEC applicants don't have the continuous requirement and can mix NOCs to meet their one year requirement).

Short answer, yes, you can use your current job in Canada (NOC 1123)/.

Hi Guys,

I am a full time baker and my field of study was also baking and pastry arts. I have a full time job as a baker, however due to coronavirus pandemic there have been some weeks when I did not get full time hours.
Do I need to start my work experience cycle all over again for CEC or I can just cover-up those weeks after completing 1 year at my workplace. (As in I can work some extra fulltime weeks after 1 year to finish 52 weeks requirement) Because IRCC website says for CEC we do not need continuous experience.
