Hello guys,

Received the PPR email half an hour ago.
I logged into my CIC account and it still says "we are reviewing your eligibility" and "we are processing your background check".
So, I would suggest we should not put much emphasis on IP1 and IP2.
They are processing your case and once its done you will get an email from cic directly.

Cheers!
Congratulations.

Review of additional documents - We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.
Interview - You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Is there anyone with similar timeline / any update?

Thanks in advance.
I am in a similar situation. AOR 19th Oct. Request for RCMP - Nov 16, 2018, RCMP Submitted - Jan 7th, 2019. Rest all is same. I spoke to a agent though two weeks ago, she said my Eligibility is Recommended Pass. Criminality is under review, Security not started.

ok, and would you mind if I ask another question - just in case you know, I saw some comments mentioning about IP1 and IP2 thing ? What exactly is that, and is it relevant for all PR applications ?

No not for all. There have been many cases where an applicant directly gets PPR emails from IP1. Since my AOR I was in IP1 stage, then after passing medicals I went to IP2, but after speaking with an agent I have still not cleared my Criminality which is usually done in IP1 stage. So don't totally depend on IP1/IP2, PPR email is important.
IP1 - They haven't started Background Check.
IP2 - Background Check in under process.

what is ircc contact number how we can contact agent. pls tell me guys .
No point in contacting them. I called them yesterday. They just repeat what’s written in your account update-first via pre-recorded voice and then then the agent repeats the same.

I don’t think there is a pattern here in who gets the PPR first. All sounds random.

I am CEC-Inland, AOR 21 Oct, CRS 496, MEP 21 Nov, IP2 26 Nov, no update since then.

I ordered GCMS notes as well- but they just say the same- under review. I don’t think the GCMS notes tell you anything about when you will actually get the PPR.
