Application received November 23rd.
We still haven't received AOR.

We're currently on hold at the moment..we figured we'd just give the office and call and ask if our application has been sent back.

Does anybody know how the CIC sorts these out? It's a little discouraging to see folks who submitted later get processed much faster. I noticed on the Facebook group that a few December applicants have started to receive AOR and the jealously is strong with this one here haha.

Drop the jealousy, it will get you nowhere. There will always be people who are processed faster than you despite applying after you. AORs are not processed in a linear order, it depends on the assigned officers' workload and efficiency.

Should wait for MR
When we get medical request, attend for medicals and wait for medical passed email from CIC
After that , File transfer email (considered as AOR2),
Background check ,
Decision Made on Permanent Residence application status
PASSPORT request

Make sure of the following too:
Include your middle name and sometimes they don't put the city, just the country and the state (For us anyways, they didn't put Sarasota, Florida, they put just Florida and United States). That was the issue we ran into. We had to call to get help linking.

Yeah actually I had doubt with this city, state and country only
Will rule out the problem.
But ECAS is also very helpful to know our application status
