Hi All,
I have submitted my Express Entry application after receiving ITA and was trying to create a job bank profile, but I am getting the following error.

Error: You have entered an invalid Express Entry Profile Number and/or Job Seeker Validation Code. To avoid errors, you should copy and paste these codes directly from the message in your MyCIC account. If you are still having problems registering with Job Bank using these codes, please go to CIC Help Centre at http://cic.gc.ca/english/contacts for more information.

I am sure my information is correct, but I still see this error.
Is there a contact email/phone for job bank queries or if anyone else faced this issue and was able to solve it, please help!

I looked at the posts in this forum but couldn't find any solution, any help in this regard would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nitin

Hi Nitin,
I tried to create an account too with my EE profile number and the job seeker validation code (both are entered correctly). I am also facing the same issue.

Appreciate if anyone can help!

Thanks.

I looked for some more threads but couldn't resolve this issue. Let's look for it and post the solution here once we find it.

Any particular reason you're both creating a Job bank profile? It is completely useless and I haven't heard of anyone getting a job through there in the past couple of years I've been in this forum.

Hey DelPiero07, could you please confirm. I was under the impression that signing up for job bank/ job seeker was a necessary step in your PR application if you did not have a valid job offer (with LIMA). Is this not the case?

That's not the case anymore. Registration to job bank is optional.

I am also having same error. I got my ITA I have already applied for PR. Got a confirmation that they have received my application. Post that I tried to create my job bank profile. I got an error which precisely said that they are unable to fetch my ee profile number for my email id. I am sure I am entering correct details. I haven't created any other profile with my email I'd on my ee profile. I have tried emailing however they are not able to resolve the issue. Can anybody help or advise why my express entry profile number is not been fetched for my email I'd.

Hi Guys!
I am facing the same issue, it was strange that my EE ID and job seeker code was invalid, so i reached out to cic with the help of a web form and the revert i got from them is that if an EE ID is ineligible you cannot create a seeker profile in Job Bank Canada. This is really giving me cold feet.
I have tried reaching out to CIC through phone but they are not answering. If anyone hears anything on this topic kindly update.

@All I faced the same issue. Usually, when we submit applications, we have a lot of time looking around at old messages, status updates and we bump into job bank; wanting to register & explore. On this subject:
- Job bank registration is not mandatory at all and it is totally a candidate's choice
- Logins usually get disabled post ITA docs submission
- This is not to be worried about if you are unable to register

Hope this helps, thanks

Hi. Any update on this? Were you able to create a job bank account? Did your express entry application pass eligibility?
I am having the same issue and I am worried.
Thanks.
