It's looking like it's taking around two weeks between medicals being done & pre-arrival letters being issued, which is super exciting for me as I did my medical in Halifax today!
I'm from the UK too.

I have seen you & Lollys on this forum, you two are the only other Brits I've seen going through AIPP so far! My application was received on January 2nd, I got my AOR & Medical request on January 28th. I had my medical on January 31st, and my account changed to say that I have passed my medical February 3rd. I'm amazed but also very pleased at how fast it seems to be happening.

Congrats on your AOR, yeah my medical showed as passed within a couple of days and the normal wait time is normally around 6 weeks so it’s great it’s been processed so fast. Yeah I know one other family who are in NS, they flagpoled about a week ago.

You should submit an ATIP request and you will find out how quick your appointment to confirm PR will come. Lol. Someone just did that and he signed his COPR at Halifax last week.
@andy.keeling i was wondering if they were still doing the PR confirmation letter to attend a LVO with passports and photos for COPR. I spotted people getting that request last year but haven’t seen any this year.

If you are an inland applicant, yes. It's part of IRCC's new initiative. None of you guys probably will get a PPR if you are already residing in Canada and will get a letter instead inviting you to go to Halifax or Fredericton CIC office to confirm your PR.
Yeah I knew it was one of the new initiatives that was going on last year, my case is currently at Halifax. will be so much easier than driving all the way to flagpole from PEI. But then saying that I will drive anywhere so long as I get PR.

This is the first time I've heard about these in-person COPRs (interviews?)! I don't suppose you guys know what the deal is with this interview? I made an inland application with my spouse as my dependant when we were both in Canada on work permits. They've since expired, I have an application in for a new work permit (currently on implied status) but because my NOC is only C, my partner wasn't eligible to apply for a new work permit. He's having to go back to the UK in the meantime, this won't be an issue will it?
