Hi, I recently applied for a Visit visa for my parents. My mom was the primary applicant and my dad was the co-Applicant.

I just did the BioMetrics for them yesterday and I got a notification this morning stating that my Mom's visa was approved. But where as my Dad's visa got rejected. The reason quoted were the following.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

Now I don't know what was the reason behind this?
- Was it information that was provided ? (or)
- Was it information that wasn't provided?
How can I find the reason for the same?

And I would like to know what are the options ahead of me to address this issue? The letter says the following in this regard,
"You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee."

i don't mind submitting a new application and paying anew processing fee. But I would like to know what other additional data that can be provided.

Have any of you faced this issue - "Parents applied together, one approved and the other rej

Thanks.

- Arafath.

1. What was the purpose of their visit? For how long do they intend to visit?

2. What documents did each of your parents submit?

1. What was the purpose of their visit? For how long do they intend to visit?
AbuRaadiya: Visit Visa for less than 6 months.
2. What documents did each of your parents submit?
AbuRaadiya: They both were submitted with the same set of documents for the most part. As for as Financial Support documents were concerned, they were only asked for the Primary applicant (Mom) and hence I provided the same for Mom. Financial Support docs weren't asked for the co-Applicant (Dad).
