Permanent resident should be in Canada only when you are applying. But I am sure after that there is no issue...

There is no rule that you can't go overseas while ur application is in process.
Does not matter if you are PR or citizen

Each case is different therefore it is hard to say how long will it take. It is safe to say that it will take about 8-15 month from start to finish.

No.. he can't just come with you without a visa issued by NDVO. Contacting Delhi office will not do anything.

You have to wait for decision made.. passport request.

I submitted at chandigarh on 22nd jan and yesterday i got msg that ur decision envelope has been couriered..... don't worry it will take just a week or ten days. Good luck!!

If you not a citizen then you can't stay in india for that long. If you stay for long and ircc or ndvo find out then it ll be reason of rejetion. You can stay max for 2 weeks. Bruv don't take risk cuz only citizen can stay out of canada during the process. I have link for this search too n i don't mind to share here in case if you wanna more info. Good luck
