New passport entries after application for IEC?

Hi everyone,

I haven't found any information on this on the web, so I came here... I've submitted an application for a work permit for IEC Canada. In case it gets approved and I receive a POE letter, my plan is to enter the country early 2020. But I may want to travel other countries in the meantime. What about any new entries that would be added to my passport if I travelled (for example) to Thailand or another country that requires me to bring my passport as a EU citizen? Do I have to notify Canadian authories of passport entries after application and before entry or between receipt of POE letter and entry? Could is cause any problems if I travelled to certain countries?

Thanks in advance!

Best,

Miriam

It is doubtful that CBSA will even check any stamp in your passport and not even have access to any before/after view of your passport pages given they will be more interested in that you meet the terms of having an IEC permit issued. So full term travel insurance and access to 2500 CDN.

Of course if you have been to North Korea, Syria,Iran, Iraq then you may have an issue but assume that is unlikely

Does not matter at all. If they grow suspicious when you arrive, they will ask you purpose of your extensive travel and if there's nothing sketchy, you should be fine. Hopefully you get a Visa valid till 2020. Good luck with your travels!
Thank you for your reply! That's what I wanted to hear. ;-) :)

Thanks for you reply! Yes, that's very unlikely :) I thought if any there might be an issue if I travelled to countries with certain health risks.
