Points Calculation -Professional Skilled points

Dear Members,

Would someone please confirm how exactly points system works.

I have seen people immigrating with no professional skill but when I ask nay agent they say i need to have professional skilled years of work.

A friend 35 years, immigrated to Canada, who studied accounting but worked as a security guard. He only had experience of Accounts Receivables / Finance officer experience for 8 months, we both worked together. & 4 years security officer (full time)

How comes agents say I cant immigrate? I did accounting & worked as 8 months in AR, 3 months as Accounts Assistant & 6 months as Accountant.

Can someone please guide me.

Could you tell me whether you calculated your CRS score yet?

When I calculated, it came to 339 which is very low as the current trend is at ~445.

Hi mate,

I did calculated on the website. It came to 70 point where the minimum was 65. its the same calculator provided on the home page.

Any clue & suggestions?

That's the FSW eligibility score calculation. What I was speaking about is the CRS calculation.
