Just submitted my CIC application...now what?

Does anyone have a minute to give a run-down of what I can expect now that I've coughed up $2,500 and submitted all the documents? We've applied for PR (first time) in the CEC class. I've read things about having to send in passports, 6 photos, etc , at some point. Online it said processing time was 45 days, but is that the time it takes just to hear back about the next step or the TOTAL time to be a legit PR? Thanks!

45 days? The estimated time is 6 months. You have send passports and stuff once it is approved. After submitting, you don't have to do anything, unless they ask you for some documents.

You are not waiting for a card lol, that is for people who have a PR approved and apply for a card. You are applying for PR, not card.
YOu should go economic immigration, CEC,

Good chances, they try to get it done sooner. Unless you get stuck somewhere, than you are looking at way LATERRRRR.

Depending on your stream. Nowadays 6 months for CEC is a miracle.
