Hello!

I hope you can help me and give me some advise on what to do with my current status here in canada.

Im having a Visit Visa here and it is already expired last October 2018, however i already applied for my extension August 2018.
Its already end of January, its been 5 months since i submitted my application of extension of my visit visa but I havent received anything from the immigration. What is the best way that i can do?

1. Do i need to wait until the decision has been made?

2. Is it okay if i will come back to my home country and applied for another visit visa? Is there any complication with that?

3. Is there any risk that i will get denied if i will reapply for visit visa in my home country?

Please help me. Thank you.

1. No.

2. Yes. Maybe.

3. Possibly.

You’re currently under implied status until a decision is made.

I know that I’m under implied status but I need to come back home to accompany my grandmother to come back here again in canada. My Grandma is 87yrs old, and she need someone to be with her going back here.

What will I do if the result is not been made? I need to come back home at the end of February. I need a visa to re enter canada border.

Please help. Thank you.

A TRV has nothing to do with visitor status in Canada. If your TRV is no longer valid, you need to apply for a new one when you go home.

If i will apply a new visit visa when i come back home, is there any complication that will may occur? My visit visa extension here in canada is pending.. Its been 5 months and i haven’t heard anything from immigration.. Is that okay?

As of this week, they’re already reviewing complete appications received on September 29.
We submitted my mom’s on October 31st and received the decision two days ago.

I believe you need to contact them now.

I submitted my application of extension last August 29,2018.
Until now, there’s no response.
Im hoping that this 2weeks I can received from immigration. Or else, im thinking to come back home and reapply for visit visa there. Is that possible?

You need to follow up now. 105 days is the normal processing time.

Also, you need to clarify first so Canuck and other seniors here can help you.

Are you talking avout the TRV or the visitor record? These are 2 different documents.

Visitor Record.
I applied my Visit Visa Extension last August 2018.

(Assuming you have multiple entry visa)

Should you decide to go home, you don’t need to apply again for another visit visa to re-enter Canada.

My visa is Multiple.
But it has expiration. My visa expired October 2018. That’s why I applied for extension of Visit Visa.

A TRV can't be extended and as stated, has nothing to do with status in Canada. When did you arrive here? Unless you were issued a Visitor Record upon entry, you had 6 months to stay, regardless of the TRV validity.
