Has anybody here used Xpost from Canada post? I opted for the fastest one with signature required and tracking.. It only came up as $18! I thought it'd be way more expensive and I'm worried I may have picked the wrong one that's not the 1-2day guarantee. Anyone else's packages were more expensive or am I being overly worried for no reason? Inland and sent from London Ontario.

Relax! It will be fine, especially as it was posted from within Canada (as long as you have used the correct address - the one for courier delivery) - AIUI CanadaPost now no longer on work to rule / wildcat strikes.

PS - I am also in London ON (can't seem to update my location on this forum).

Hello fellow Londoner! :)

Yes it was sent off just now to the one that's Robert speck way suite 300 I believe, not the po box. Hopefully everything turns out well and nothing's returned.

Well, if you check the turnaround times quoted on Canada Post for registered mail, it says 'Major urban centres - within province' should take 3 days. I suspect that might be working days, so expect it to get there on 30th Jan - so yes, probably cutting it fine, but should be OK.

This has been my experience shipping with courier company's.

Fedex works best and is fastest shipping overseas. They are more expensive. Can contact them on weekends. No problems!
UPS was good with excellent refund policy if it has not been delivered 24 hours after the expected delivery date and time.
Canada post Xpresspost shipped within Canada was good and the least expensive option. ( a little slow but may not be important ).
Previously I have used Xpresspost overseas and was not happy with their tracking when they passed it off to another
inferior delivery company that disappeared with our items. We eventually got it back after many calls.
Tried shipping overseas with DHL and will never use them again! Expensive/slow. Our overseas parcel was held and returned
through no fault of our own. No refund, no call back from their shipping office, and no one available to contact on weekends.
Hope this helps
