1. I only checked the MBA which is only blended and is what the OP did, Yes the MGM option has both on campus and blended.
2. To an extent you will be expected to explain what you bring to a table to a company, only if you are in are in a big University will you get name recognition. This is true anywhere in the world, it does not mean that this University is not worth it but this is something you should know and prepare for.
3. Again IELTS is an English language assessment test. GMAT and GRE are Admission tests for MBA programs. Even at this University, you need to give IELTS. I am only saying that a University that accepts GMAT and GRE would be more stringent in who they accept since GMAT/GRE is notoriously difficult. Personally the fact that they accept managerial experience instead of GMAT and GRE is agrreable to me.
Not, everyone can apply to McGill or UBC but that's not my point. Since the OP was unwilling to give the name of the University. I thought I would go through their profile and find out where it is. I found out where it was and did a bit of googling and came to know that it was a blended MBA without GMAT/GRE required.
At no point did I say to stay away from this University. I actually mentioned that it was the OP's fault that he did not do his due diligence in researching about the University. I also mentioned that the reviews seemed to be pretty good. BTW, glad to know that you got into a course of your choice from where you can work and grow well!
Ultimately I am just cautioning you to do your due diligence and thoroughly before going to apply for any University or college, if you like it and it fits your budget then go for it. UCW you mentioned is a private Institution and private Institutions have a negative outlook from most Canadians. Also if you are going through an agency don't believe what they say is accepted or good. Research the place before you go for admissions.
For example, what is your prior work experience? Have you searched where are jobs related to your Industry located in Canada? Is it in BC, Ontario, Quebec or any of the other provinces.
For me personally, I was looking for a Grad. diploma at Concordia University in Quebec which also didn't need GMAT/GRE. I personally don't find value in MBA's and as I couldn't do masters in Marketing since I did Hotel administration nor did I have work experience in marketing. I found out that the Grad.diploma that Concordia was offering did not really guarantee me anything as past candidates just went on to management positions in their own Industry. What I wanted was to get into the marketing side of the Hospitality Industry.
So I finally chose to do a postgraduate marketing certificate which has a co-op option which allows me to get experience in a real firm. I have already checked that two chains Four Seasons and Fairmont are both based in Toronto and offer Co-op opportunities. It may not be a diploma or a degree or an MBA but it's something that will get me where I want to go. In the worst case I can take that foreign experince back to India and work in a Hospitality Chain there.
