I was suppose to apply my wife's application (i was to sponsor her)
from within Canada in 2011 but i couldn't do it due to some family issues
and my being sick (needed someone to look after me as I was unable to do basic things, like walking, sitting..etc), and i have submitted the fee in 2011 in Canada (TD Bank),
can i use that Receipt to sponsor her now? Currently I am living in Pakistan,
and I am a disable person and I have not enough money to repay for the sponsorship
application.

any idea to anyone?
So did you send in the application or you only paid the fee? Normally you should have been able to get the fee back if you never sent in the application.

If you are a PR, you can not sponsor while you are staying in Pakistan. If you are a citizen, you can but you would have to prove that you and your wife will be moving to Canada when she gets her PR.

Hi,
I am a Canadian citizen who want to sponsor my husband. I am living in Canada and my husband outside Canada. I was in Social assistance for few months two years ago. I am now student at the university have part-time job. Is being on Social assistance in the past will affect my eligibility for sponsorship?

No. As long as you are not on it now.
