Hey Cansha, thank you for the link. I am currently talking with the HR to help me out with that. Do you think it would be better to create a new offer of employment or just sate on the company letter head that they want to employ me for at least one year after issuance of PR? I think the first choice is weird, because I am already working for the same company, so they may not be so inclined to make a job offer for the job that I am currently working at, right? Please correct me if I am wrong
I don’t have personal experience in this but if I were in similar situation I would just take letter from HR on official letter head that they will keep employing me at least one year post PR. I think that should be enough. Logically that should work.

For a september AOR, this is quite fast. Are you sure your file is in Montreal? Are you inland? If you are inland then that explains why background checks are in progress

Okay. I have that too. What is it for? Is it for something you can proactively submit documents to correct ir just for statutory questions
@Adeife23 , It was for my age. I got my ITA before my birthday and my score was 463. Now the AOR was generated after my birthday and so i guess the analyst recalculated my score again....(for reasons best know to him/her) :(. the CRS cutoff at my time of ITA was 441, so even if you take away 15 points it will still be above the cut-off. Tried to paste a section of my gcms note with no luck. But an extract of it says
'Review Required - Stat Questions Spouse -AGE- Applicants age reviewed and changed from ITA to e-APR Documents set for review'

You don't have to worry about it. They mark review required for age change as formality, the actual vo will pass it.

Do you plan to give them a call once you hit the 6 month mark ? Or did you call them in the recent past ?
Hi Axwell.. I've no intention to call them at the moment or even after 4 days from now, I've just done on the 14th of this current month ,was the 3rd time to reach them throughout the whole 6 months period, and I've got the same exact response and "wordings" , that my eligibility is "under review" or "in progress", with the background check "not started" , no documents needed at the moment. Ordered GCMS in October and never received it, ordered another set 12 days ago. I may raise a CSE after a couple of days, not optimistic about that at all, just something that I haven't done yet.

AOR July 30,2018
MEP & IP1 :August 22nd & 23rd
Nothing after that.
and @cansha I guess I'll try to prevent myself from getting excessively emotional with my sentences in that webform that I will raise in few days , just remembered U passing through the same emotional phase

Yeah I did. It doesn't help though but I was frustrated by the generic responses. It was the last week of Dec so I just wrote that hope they enjoy the new year but I can't enjoy it that much since I don't know what is happening with my application. At that point I was trying everything really. I had some 4 CSEs in 2 weeks or 5 if I count the direct email I sent them on the generic response they had sent.

I'm sure all of us at Montreal have gone through it. It's more frustrating after 6 month mark. I didnt know you set up a bunch of cse's I thought you were calmly waiting!. Glad I'm not alone but I'm going to hold off for few weeks, doesn't seem to have helped anyone

I was relatively calm uptill Dec 19 and then was frustrated. Based on the trend at that time I expected them to work on my file in 4th week of Nov. And someone did pick up my file on 28 Nov and set a deadline of 28 Dec and forgot about it. Some people have had a luck of getting action immediately once the file is picked up. In my case it took a little longer. But still I would say I feel luckier as many friends are still waiting and I know it is not easy.

And it basically boils down to that random chance of someone deciding to show you some mercy. All other things "Every file is different blah blah" are just the things people say to rationalize stuff. Yeah every file is different in terms of I guess one's luck but not so much because of facts or details of file. I was hoping 2019 would be different based on how Montreal started but they have gone back to their shell.
