Here is my timeline

Toronto
Single
1300 Days physical presence
App Sent: Feb 06, 2018
Received: Feb 10, 2018
AOR: Mar 01, 2018
In Process: Apr 17, 2018
FP req - Aug 17
Test Invite Email: Jan 22, 2019
Test Date: Feb 04, 2019

Wish all the ones get it soon too.... I will update once test is complete. Cheers!

Contact your local MP. I sent an email to mine and the office was fast in replying to me. I then met with them just a few days after sending the email, signed a release of information form and they said they will contact the immigration office on my behalf and see what is going on. They indicated feedback would be a week (or two on the slow end), and most likely the initial reply would be that it's not yet over the year (for me Feb 26th will be the year). They indicated they would still be able to get confirmation if there was an issue with the app or my app was waiting to complete an internal test or not.

I think this is the best way given its approaching the deadline.

Hi, Yes for a USA Visa about 5 years ago. I would expect you to get the test invite some time soon too.



Quick question for anyone who has completed Citizenship Test already, Can we print the email copy of the test invite and take it or do we get a paper copy in mail and that is required ?

Hi StuCn,
Do you know if your BG /security/criminality are done or not yet? I applied FEB 22,2018 and due date to get them completed is March 8,2019

Applied a week before you, Mississauga office, due date shown on GCMS is March 6th, 2019. IP since May 02, 2018. Called CIC three days ago and agent told me that "background check is passed". Happy to hear that but I don't trust CIC call agent, will make another call on Monday to confirm. Also ordered another GCMS notes, by next month I should receive it to verify if it is really "passed".

also fyi on my most recent GCMS notes (info retrieved on Dec 28th, 2018), criminality is passed on May 2, 2018 (long ago, same date of IP), but everything else is "Not started". And if my background check is really passed, meaning that they can go from "Not started" to "Pass" within 2 weeks or so.

Good to hear that actually I did get my ATIP this January and nothing started even criminality is in progress when I called two days ago they told me the same its still in progress. I dont know why its taking them too long someone said they wait for FBI report tooo. My IP since April 30,2018

Same here my IP since 22 April 18 ...today I called them and they says it’s still in Sydney and they are still reviewing..

Wow still in Sydney did you ask them reviewing what exactly?..Through my reading in this thread processing starts from Sydney, they transfer it to local office only to schedule for the test and continue what started in Sydney. Mine was transferred to Mississauga in August 2018 but doesn't matter still in progress for criminality.

Hey everyone.
A new line on my husband's ECAS appeared stating "We sent you a notice on January 23, 2019 to appear and write the citizenship test on February 11, 2019 at 1:35 PM". I am not sure where the test will be as we have not received a letter yet.

Let us continue to support each other through this process.
