Hello everybody!!
One of my friend is going to apply for prra soon ( in February) . But thing is his work permit is expiring on end of March. Can he extend his work permit because somebody told him he can't extend it. If someone knows link for extension with prra.. please put this on here.. we will appreciate much thank you
Assuming your friend has received notice that he is eligible to apply for a PRRA, as long as he submits the application before the deadline mentioned, he can continue to work until his permit expires, but will then have to renew it if a decision has not yet been made.

Here is the relevant section from the above link. Hope this helps.
May I work while my application is being processed?
This is your first PRRA application
If you have a valid work permit, and you submit your PRRA application by the deadline on the enclosed
Notification Regarding a Pre-Removal Risk Assessment, you can work until a decision is made on your application, or the date on which your permit expires, whichever occurs first.
If you do not have a valid work permit, and you submit your PRRA application on time, you may apply for a work permit up until such time as a decision is made on your application. To obtain a permit, refer to the
Application to Change Conditions or Extend Your Stay in Canada – Worker (IMM 5553). It is illegal to work in Canada without a permit issued by IRCC.
