Yes checked the status in ecas and it shows " in Progress" .

I see on my hubby that BGC has already begun, is that normal to get before medical request or even SA?

It says this:
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

What do y'all think?

Yea same here says we are processing background check, I just received AOR on Jan 10 . I haven’t gotten SA or medical or anything.

my sponsor and i have applied thru conjugal partnership. she lives in Ontario while the applicant lives in Germany. we are both have no dependent family member.

in the imm0008 form--GENERIC APPLICATION FORM FOR CANADA. ....... i have filled
QUESTION-3--------How many family members, including you, are in this application (see instructions guide)? -- i have answered (( 1 ))

-should i include my sponsor in the answer as 2 family members or no? because she resides in ontario and i am to fly to her from Germany.

in the complete Guides states as follows:
((( Guide-5298--- Indicate the total number of family members included in your application. This includes yourself and any family members, regardless of whether they intend to accompany you to Canada or not.)))

Someone help me figure out if my answer is right or no so i can make a correction before it's late.
