On campus work

I am studying at Conestoga College at kitchener. My college has campuses in Waterloo and Cambridge also.

I am getting a job inside the Waterloo campus of Conestoga College.

Will this be considered ON-CAMPUS or OFF-CAMPUS work ?
Since I study in kitchener campus and I am getting work in Waterloo campus.

Also, all three cities of Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge fall under the same municipality.

on campus means working on the college campus no matter which campus it is and off campus is if you work off campus meaning you dont work at the school example private external company

“On-campus” means all the buildings on your school campus. If your school has more than one campus, in most cases, you may work only at locations in the city where you are studying.

There is an exception if you are working as a teaching or research assistant and your work is strictly related to a research grant. In this case, you may work at a library, hospital or research facility associated with your school, even if they are outside the campus."

If I was you I would contact the schools immigration department to be sure.

It seems to be a tricky answer and basically we need to find out which rule takes precedence over the other, does municipality overide the city rule?
to me it sounds like you cant work in cities within different municipalities but you can work in cities within the same municipality but i would contact the school for clarification about this.

Even they have limited knowledge on this issue.

What does your student visa say. are you allowed to work off campus?
If you are allowed to work of campus then you can work anywhere.
Is the job you received a paid job or volunteer?
