@cansha you know how sometimes eligibility reverts to not started when there's a transfer to another VO (especially VOs outside Canada) despite being Met or recommended passed initially?
I think the PreVU verified is a way of verifying applicants information (especially by Ottawa) without doing the complete eligibility checks & probably completeness checks again.

I've been waiting for 10months already and my status is still background check in progress. I don't really know what the delay reason may be as every time we call them they don't give any clarifications. I ordered notes in the beginning of Jan and still waiting, is there any way to get some additional info? Thank you

Sorry for barging in. I too have PreVU on my GCMS generated 1 month before I entered IP2 officially.

Does that make any sense?

Also, both of you please your thoughts on response I received. I know the possible answer but I need a third party opinion this time.

My theory is right. It's for applications transferred from CIO to Ottawa. PreVU verified is Ottawa's way of verifying your information
PS: @Prashant86_2000 it was a day after your R10 completeness checks (IP1) not IP2.

I completely agree with this - I googled it back in the day, and that's what I found out too. Can't remember the source though.

It’s PPR guys! From Sydney!

Approved: Oct 22
PPR: Jan 23

No ghost update.

Called IRCC several times (btw, after your passed 6 months, ask agent to leave a note for you, not sure if it helps in my case, but just try everything), raised CSE (always got generic reply), emailed Ottawa (who never replied to me but did forward my email to Sydney), NDVO (with no reply), HKVO (my LVO, who replied couple times, telling me the file is not with them) and Sydney (who replied me after Ottawa forwarded my email).

I literally lost hope yesterday. But thank you all so much for your information and support. Specific thanks to @tobs eho answered many of my questions and @macaly7 who keeps the very useful list. But overall, I would like to thank every one in this community! And hope those who hasn’t received their PPR will get it soon!

Btw I will now order GCMS to see what happened during the three months after approval....

Yeah, I was talking about the GCMS notes where I got this info had its Generation dates a month before my IP2.

Never Got my GCMS, Called CIC multiple times, CSE remained generic and never got a reply from CIO or CPC, Security not started until my last conv. mid Jan.

Friends waiting for their PPR, You will also get it soon. Thank God.

i think although generic but it provides some information. additional verification is not always about security but can be about eligibility as well. i have seen such cases in myimmitracker.

There were many pprs reported today as well for August applicants.

On positive side, cic is working hard on all days this week as there has been continuous pprs since Monday. I really wish Thursday and Friday proves lucky for all of us awaiting ppr.
