Did you ask for a "fast process"?
The other process that had a change in this region was Waterloo- march because it had a special request last December.

I did not request urgent processing.

Sometimes test takes place before all the background checks are completed... it could be that ...plz wait for dm update on ecas that should solve everything

Good to know, I was hoping they had the time to check everything in 1 year. Do we know if the decision is positive or negative in the dm update status on ecas ?

Hi All,

My application package is ready to send. I would like to take your advise on below:

1) Is it ok If I put 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 in tax column, But in 2018 i marked "yes" required to file and "No" did not filed ( as I have still not received tax docs for year 2018). will it be ok?
2) Do I have to give PR and COPR and health card copies as well with passport copy?
3) Do I have to mention my name on back of photo?

Please advise.

Did you have any special request like family name change etc????

These things were to be taken care of before applying. Mid way going for name change etc can prolong the processing time frame.

I have same timeline but how did you come to know your application is in Mississauga office???

In my opinion, let things move as is. once you get the Citizenship you can apply for legal name change later. I have a plan to do the same for my son. He is having only first name i want to add his last name.

That’s right...but in my case I had requested for name change with application and after 10months we sent them a request to Do not change the Name and Keep it as PR card..
So they should process as normal case now...
But still no update just waiting ....

Just received the elusive email for Citizenship Oath Ceremony on 12th February! I am so happy! Finally! patience and perseverance helped me sustain and remain positive. Wish everyone have their cases progress forwards very soon. Looking at previous posts, I thought the ECAS would show the change first about the oath. But, in my case, the ECAS is not updated yet, but I did get an email. So, it is best to keep checking both and specially your spam folder as well
