My application was received and signed in Sidney on October 1st (as per DHL confirmation)
Nothing has been yet received in terms of AOR or anything whatsoever
I guess we still have two more weeks before any news right?

May be you should try calling them, it's been more than three months now right...but getting through isnt easy I guess

That seems to be their go-to line, I think they just read from a script unless pressed with extra detail.

Try to check through ECAS and Gckey
Without AOR , I tried yesterday in ECAS and I got error / information not found about this application

But after 6hrs I got AOR

I would agree and call. Each case is different of course, and they may be waiting on pa country to respond. you will find that it goes month by month, however it also "tends" to go by country as well. I say tends to, but we all know this process is messy and not straightforward.
You will usually see India and Philippines get aor first, as their countries respond faster than others. That may be whats going on with you, and they are just slow. Since most (again, not all) October apps have had some kind of info given, you may want to call.
i was oct 26th, and had my app returned to me and resubmitted already. Oct 31st from Australia was given AOR dec 24th. So yours may be taking its sweet time, or may be a hold up. I'd call

My application was received on Nov 20, 2018.

I did not received my AOR, so I gave a call to IRCC (18882422100). I was told my application has not yet been processed and it may be by luck that people whose application was submitted later than mine have received their AOR.

I was told that they could only take an action if my application was received before October 9, 2018. Also, they gave me a temp application number and suggested me to wait.
