I've sent 5th December , no updates as well. I called them last Monday and the week before last week, and got the answer that they processing 22nd October. some people in this forum got different answers like November last Wednesday, so I think maybe we need to wait another month... they processing tooooooooooooo slow...

You are right but I know CIC since all the applications I did in the past years...study permit, work permit, PR....they were taking their time...veeery slowly. Now I am in Canada and I don't have any concern about the release of PR..I should not go anywhere in the meantime.

Did you call them or submitted a webform ? some users on this forum has updates and their photos re submission was in 3rd week november

I was contacting weekly, always getting the same answer...processing photos up to October 22nd. Last Friday they sent me an email saying they forwarded my case to the responsible office and finally got a GHOST UPDATE today! The last time I sent a webform I included the Canada Post delivery confirmation for the photos, this might have helped...

If not you need to apply for the permanent residence travel visa in the country you are visiting. They may take from 1 day to 1 week (hopefully not more than that).

Thanks for the update. It's still a long shot for December re-taken photos delivery. Cannot do anything but waiting....

Hey, my case is the same. My new photo was received by them on Dec 19. If you have any update on your case, please share and I will share mine as well.

Today I saw that the time processing for PR is changed to 45 days, based on that logic, if they take 45 days to process a PR ( without pictures retake ) , they should do the same time for retake pictures since the reception of the new pictures.

Decided to apply for PR travel document:
Passport + docs delivered in NY IRCC office 18 Jan;
PR travel document approved 21 Jan.

Now when I go back to Canada I have to send my new photos to Nova Scotia within Canada.
That's my story.

why you need to send photos again? you already sent on 27th Nov. right? i called them, they said sometimes Nova Scotia office won't update photos info with them, and sometimes you received your card without any updates.

I really hope you're right. As we don't know on what dates they're working, we won't expect any update soon. Hope they will give expected news on our cases. Let the game go on...

Yes, if the photos you sent on November already delivered, you don't need to worried at this moment.

And I sent on 5th Dec/ delivered on 10 Dec., few days later than you. Lets wait.
