I decided to withdraw my citizenship application. Will it affect the other members of the family?

No everyone gets citizenship individually. There was no need to withdraw if you qualified for citizenship..

Yes it will work.
However I would suggest that you tell them you want to withdraw and if possible with a reason.
I see several benefits:
* In case you want to apply again in the future, they will have trace of your first application. So better to show them that your treat the application seriously.
* It will save from processing time for other applicants. Some of them are waiting for a very long time for someone to continue processing their applications. If you just wait, they will send you two invites for the test or oath.
* You'll get your 100$ back faster.
