Extensive travel history

I have a question specifically for those of you that had extensive travel histories to find out whether your PPR was affected or delayed in any way.

I had roughly 100 international trips in the last 10 years, which I meticulously reported in the Travel History section of my application. The distribution of my travel by geography is 50% in the Schengen area, 15% to the US, about 25% to Asia (incl. China), and the final 10% to Mexico, South America, Africa and the Middle East. The distribution by purpose of travel is 75% for work, and 25% for tourism. I was only required to produce upfront PCCs for the UK and India, which I did.

1. Should I preemptively apply for a US PCC? (I lived in the US for 8 years up to Sept 2007.)

2. I am floating a theory (for which I'm trying to find proof): The broader your travel the richer your file is in terms of data points and international info sharing, which adds confidence to your profile, I suppose?
I had a very similar travel history profile, averaging 20 countries with over 50 trips. Your assumption is spot-on as it helps them validate/verify data with other countries. USA travels enable the CIC to fetch information quicker. Result: PPR in 2 weeks by CPC-Ottawa

Btw I also had submitted only the UK and India PCC’s.

Hey man, thanks for sharing this! I am getting a lot of conflicting feedback, but a lot of people are leaning the way you are. I also had to rub my eyes and read your signature twice to believe it! Were you a CEC-Inland? What was your application type? What country were you a citizen and resident of at the time of AOR?

Wow. Just wow. I guess those good ol' days of 2017 are just gone - bye bye? I'm waiting to get my MEP by day 41 at this point. And to think that you flew through to your PPR in half that time. Who says they grounded the supersonic?! Which city in Canada have you moved to and how do you like it? What was the adjustment like? Feel free to PM me.

It wasn’t much of a cultural change as I’ve lived in the UK and USA prior to this. I moved to Toronto, and it’s just like any other world-class city. The only whining if I may have is that it doesn’t possess the diverse authentic restaurants like in London, UK or NYC.

I wasn't asking about the city - I was asking specifically about your adjustment. Was it easy to make friends and land on your feet? Did you feel lonely? Was it hard to make new friends? How quickly did you find a job? (That sort of thing.)

I have lived 9 years of my life in London growing up, and 8 in the US, of which four were in New York. Toronto is no New York or London, but I actually think I'd be happier there (for a variety of reasons). :)

Ah- I had an intra-company transfer done, and as a result landed with a job here on Day one. I got a condo here in 2 weeks leveraging the services of a realtor. As a result, everything is hunky-dory here thus far by God's utmost grace. Spouse and kids joined me 3 months later. Getting school admission for kids was seamless too.

It wasn't hard at all to make friends, particularly as I was active on the social front.

So are you an FSW-Inland applicant or CEC? What's your AOR?

It's been less than 60 days since your AOR. There are PNP-Inland applicants with mid-December AORs that are still waiting for their MEP. Patience, my friend, patience. Keep checking MyImmiTracker.com to follow the progress of other PNP-Inland applicants with a similar AOR to yours.
PNP inland. AoR is Nov 28 2018. Thank you
