Question regarding deffer letter

Hi,

I got my study permit this week but my classes started on Jan 15..applied for extension from college and they refused ..now deffering me to May intake....can i come only 3 weeks before my classes start ?? Is there any rule like that ??

Only rule: your visa must be valid when you land in Canada.

At PoE, CBSA may ask you to prove you can support yourself before your classes starts. I landed here last Nov 30 when my classes have yet to start on Jan 7. I was not even asked if I have extra fund to support myself for the month before official start of classes.

Hi bro I am also in the same situation and college provide us the deffer letter which we need to show at immigration
