passports to cpc ottawa- january 2019

Yeah, I called today (after 6 attempts, I got on the queue!), the agent also told me too that he cannot find my passports on their system. He was unwilling to check with their shipping and receiving department. He only asked his 'team leader'!

I think the Call Center guys don't see anything that is not linked to the system. And (my assumption is) the passport gets linked to application only after approval.

i called then just now . i said them my passport was delivered at jan 11 but the agent on phone said they are not able to see in system that ur passport is delivered there or not. as per tracking number of canada post it was delevired at 7:30 in morning on jan 11. is this common that there system not updated this soon

I read in some forum (cant get the link for the life of me now!) that the workflow for COPR is:
1. Officer verifies passport and sends it for printing COPR
2. After the passports are received from printing, the officer updates the application as Approved
3. Its mailed out

Its been 6 days, I am hoping we are all in Step 1 at least by now. Fingers crossed!

Have you all heard anything different?

As per tracker the timeline these days is 7-10 days from day of passport delivered. Give it 1-3 days more. You should see something.

Update: I called again today and was told passports have been sent for visa printing. He could not give me an eta.

In other news, I had messaged IRCC on their FB page asking about the Stevenage Dr address and they confirmed it was mailing room for PO box and many other addresses.

Because we got passport request today and 24 th is our application expiration date.sending via mail is not feasible
