The UCI number for my application has changed. Earlier it was CAN********** and now its 11********
This has happened both for me and my wife.

Is this normal?

Interesting. I hadn't noticed my UCI had changed. That makes sense now. I couldn't put the UCI into the CSE form because it didn't match the format they wanted when I had to send a CSE. The new number would match that format. I just mentioned the UCI I had in the body of the message and it went fine.

I haven't received single email.. neither for MEP nor for anything else..

Does that means my IP1 hasn't started ??

I didn't notice previous UCI but I think it began with CAN.. But now it begins with number only as stated above..!

AOR 2 Dec. Finally got MEP on 16 jan, 2019

Already received biometric letter.

But, after that i received another noreply mail saying my application has been updated. but when i logged into my account i don't find any new update. what does this mean?

Woohoo..!
I just saw update in my profile.. My medical is passed now..!

PS: I didn't receive any email still,,

There were 3 notable difference:

1 On landing, it was written as application is updated
2 In inner page, status is updated and it says now -- We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you. You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.
3 Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.

One query:

My background check status still says - Not applicable.. - will it get updated to in progress ? If yes, in how many days ?

IRCC updated funds required. Make sure your funds declared are up to date or do a CSE if you need to declare more.

why would you say that?

CANXX.. UCI number is now updated to the one that I have on my Work Permit. Similarly for my wife whose Work Permit was refused last year, her UCI is updated to the one she had in her refusal letter.

I didn't receive Mep yet, although my UCI number has already changed in my PR application.
I also applied for a BOWP, but in this application, I still with the UCI used before. So, is not possible that the UCI changes when we apply for the PR and we didn't notice before? =)

It will be one single UCI tagged to you. So the UCI that you have on your WP/BOWP will be updated to your PR application.

I believe so, but I think that the UCI changes when we apply to PR or when we receive AOR, instead of changing it only after MEP.
